End Of The Year

• Reflection Discussion: Why did the class recycle crayons? How did the school help the environment? Did students like recycling the crayons? Why or why not? How should we modify our plans and goals to continue the program next year? After learning about this, how will we change our behavior? How can we communicate to others in our school or community about our project and persuade them to join our efforts?

• Sorting Party: Have students come together to sort the crayons heading for donation. They can sort by color and prepare the boxes for shipping. Invite the local media to cover this event to spread the news to the community about your school’s campaign and The Crayon Initiative. **Note: We sort colors into red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, white, black and “everything else”.
